![]() ![]() It should show a stable signal over time (esp at 254 nm). Next, forget about running any samples for now and focus on getting the system properly primed and running. Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting methods to correct this issue? I have attached the readout of some the test runs and it is highly irregular baseline noise. After filtration of solution,1 mL was tranferred into a vial and the method was implemented. In addition i also used Isopropyl solution to clean the system per manual instructions and let it reach equilibrium by running solvents being used for application for 5 minutes. The sample being used is a solution made from 0.04 g Acenaphtane and 200 uL acetone dissolved in 10 mL of 50/50 H20 /ACN. I have degassed all solvents being used and flushed the system on all channels at a rate of 5 mL for 10 mins per channel. ![]() The system consist of a binary pump and a Variable wavelength detector. The test run consists of a 50/50 H20/ACN mobile phase with a flow rate of 0.6 mL/min, injection volume of 0.5 uL at RT with Detector set at 254 absorbance. After a few test runs it appears that i have ALOT of baseline noise both irregular when running the system and drifting with the system is on stand-by. ![]() I have recently started working with a refurbished Agilent 1100 HPLC system. ![]()
